The Brilliant White story

Growing up fascinated by my Dad’s lifelong career as a television camera operator and photographer, I know that having the right tools and functional working space makes all the difference to even the smallest production or personal project.

Since founding Brisbane Camera Hire in 2007, I’ve been committed to providing affordable equipment and studio hire solutions for local photographers and video content creators to produce work or teach their craft.

A new chapter

Purchasing the Capalaba warehouse in 2022 was a chance to create the space our customers tell us they want to work in – and with more than twice the space of our previous studio locations!

Building the 15 sqm corner cyclorama along with the paper backdrop area has added great versatility for our studio hirers.

Brilliant White studio is a cozy yet industrial-style space with soaring roof height. Since opening, we’ve seen a variety of product and athletic wear shoots, music video productions, corporate headshot sessions, photography workshops and more.
